This is a 2-day workshop using video tutorials from Julie Weisenberger, explaining the method of top-down, seamless sweater construction. The classes are broken up into 2 2-hour sessions each day, with lunch provided. Homework is required, so check in with shop for what needs to be done!

Cost: $ 80.00
This workshop will help the knitter through the new KAL by Artyarns designer Iris Schreier. Two contrasting colors, one in Merino Cloud and one in Silk Dream will blend to form the most loveliest of shawls, using a simple lace repeat, garter rows and short rows for shaping. But no wrapping necessary!

Cost: $ FREE
This heart-shaped shawl follows the evolution of a knitter. It begins with garter stitch, representing the garter-stitch scarf that so many of us knitters began with. Then a bit of stockinette appears, as the beginner knitter learns to purl. Once the basic stitches are mastered, textured patterns like the diamond pattern become possible. Then, cables are added and the next to try is a simple lace. Each pattern builds upon the last; each pattern is made up of knits and purls, manipulated to form apparent complexity. But, one stitch at a time, all knitting is conquerable. The final stitch pattern in this shawl combines right-side and wrong-side patterning, cables, twisted stitches, lace, and unusual decreases for a gorgeous exuberance that flares all around the edge of the finished shawl.

Cost: $ 25.00
Each of the 5 classes in this series will net a lovely wash cloth knit with 100% organic cotton, perfect for the 'wash 'n wear' needed for such an item. There are different techniques in each cloth, perfect for improving our skills, and each is finished with an I Cord binding that ends in a loop for hanging. A quick project that's great for using or gift giving!

Cost: $ 25.00
We'll be doing a toe-up sock using Judy's Magic Cast on and the Magic Loop method. Socks can be knit one-at-a-time, or, for the more adventurous, two-at-a-time! The yarn is a worsted weight and the needle size will be US #7 or #8, a simple stockinet stitch and short-row heel. They'll go quickly and you'll be pleased with the results.

Cost: $ 25.00
