If lace stitching has always intimidated you, then this class is for you! We'll learn the 2 basic stitches in a 1-row repeat scarf. That's right, 1 row, right side and wrong side, so there's no confusion. And the yarn chosen for the project is a dream to work with, a super wash merino. A perfect way to learn to "read your knitting"!
We'll be doing a toe-up sock using Judy's Magic Cast on and the Magic Loop method. Socks can be knit one-at-a-time, or, for the more adventurous, two-at-a-time! The yarn is a worsted weight and the needle size will be US #7 or #8, a simple stockinet stitch and short-row heel. They'll go quickly and you'll be pleased with the results.
An A-lined shaped cowl that snugs the neck in softness and drapes the shoulders in a lovely applied lace border. The optional addition of beads makes this a special piece, to wear or to gift to that very special someone!
